GameZen: Video Game Database & Search Companion App Reviews

Its so nice to able to pull up my entire collection when I am at a store, or flea market to check what I have. Its quick and easy to use. I also use it to keep track of games that I have beaten. A great app overall! I highly recommend it!

The game database is large. This app saves me money ensuring I dont buy the same game twice. I can track which titles Ive purchased and which titles Im still looking for. If you own multiple consoles like I do than this is a must have app. The only games this does not track are pc games. Then again Steam does a good job of that. This also allows you to add titles to the database for any console such as indy titles released after the console life. I regularly synchronize between my iPad and iPhone.

Not only is the app extremely limited, but it functions and looks like crud. Let me explain: you can only choose ONE CONSOLE at a time to browse the database with. To change consoles, you have to REINSTALL. Also, most of the GUI buttons feature text OUTSIDE the borders. Dont get it, dont waste your time, and dont buy pro.

I keep trying to download covers but it wont let me please help im a crazy collector

Edit: older systems have been added, and it is freakin awesome!!! Price is excellent for what you get, interface is easy and makes perfect sense.

Fantastic App, use it all the time. I no it must be hard to keep it up to date. But it needs one soon.

I have had this app for a few years. When I started with this app the newest gen systems were Xbox 360, PS3 & Wii. Updates were extremely frequent and new games were added consistently. Unfortunately since the release of the Xbox One & PS4, the updates are extremely behind....like several months to over a year behind. This app was the best thing out there and now its absolutely useless for next gen systems. Besides not updating the titles, they have had more than enough time to upload cover art for some of the titles that have been out for a year or more. If they return to updating the app on a consistent basis, I would gladly change the rating to much more stars. This has turned into an UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT after starting out so fantastic.

I love this app. It does everything that I hoped for. My only real problem is the lack of updating newer games. Being a retro game collector it would have been really nice to have the Genesis and Jaguar add-ons listed as individual consoles but thats just a personal thing.

This app is easy to use and super useful if you are a collector of the older stuff with its lists for what I have and what I want. BUT BE FOREWARNED when it comes to the new stuff he maybe updates ONCE a year it seems like. I own 20+ new games not listed, the newest game on my list is AC UNITY! That came out Oct 2014...

Trust me this is a great app to keep track of games and stuff, but the sad thing is is you cant use more then one database...so all I request is we can use more then one database because I have a 3DS, and an Xbox 360 but I cant use both databases at the same time so please add that soon...Overall great app (:
